She has considerable experience in acting for and advising elderly clients in issues such as planning of long term care.

Caroline advises on the administration of estates where there is a will and a Grant of Probate is needed, and where there is not a will and the administrators need to apply for a Grant of Letters of Administration. There can also be opportunities for tax planning after death and she often advises beneficiaries of estates in respect of the most tax efficient way to distribute assets using a Deed of Variation.

She has substantial experience of trust administration to include: maintaining regular trust accounts and dealing with the tax issues associated with trust work.

Other areas of her work include drafting Powers of Attorney, both general power and lasting, and Court of Protection matters.
